Ransomware Recovery — Full Environment Restored in One Week
THE SITUATION
A phishing email clicked by a partner gave attackers access to the firm's entire environment. All three servers and a VMware host were encrypted. No EDR was in place across any of the machines.
WHAT WE DID
Diagnosed the breach, confirmed no data exfiltration, identified the attack vector, restored data from backup, rebuilt Active Directory from scratch, rejoined all machines to the new domain, reformatted encrypted endpoints, deployed EDR and ITDR across the environment, hardened firewall rules, locked down Microsoft 365 with MFA, and onboarded the firm to a managed monitoring and maintenance plan.
THE OUTCOME
Fully operational within one week. The firm is now a managed client with security awareness training integrated into their practice.

FileMaker Connectivity — Weeks of Issues Resolved in One Visit
THE SITUATION
A creative studio had been unable to get FileMaker clients to connect to their host for several weeks. Previous attempts to resolve it had failed.
WHAT WE DID
Diagnosed the connectivity issue onsite, verified and reconfigured FileMaker Server settings, corrected network configuration and port forwarding, and restored reliable access for both local and external clients.

Enterprise M&A Deployment — 3,000 Workstations Across Multiple Sites
THE SITUATION
A major acquisition required rapid deployment of nearly 3,000 workstations and multi-site network infrastructure upgrades across North America. Moore Technology Consulting was brought in as a subcontractor by IHD Integration to handle all northeast sites — Boston, NYC, Rhode Island, and Atlanta.
WHAT WE DID
Managed firewall, switch, and APC upgrades across multiple northeast locations, configured and deployed approximately 3,000 laptops for end users, and coordinated independently across sites with minimal oversight.
THE OUTCOME
Workstation deployment completed in 10 months. Network migration completed across all sites within one year. On deadline, on spec, every site.

Healthcare | Long Island & New York City (4 locations)
Healthcare Infrastructure Rebuild
THE SITUATION
A healthcare organization operating across four locations — Long Island, Queens, the Bronx, and Brooklyn — had no security systems, no patch management, and no compliance setup in place. Domain controllers at multiple sites had been corrupted from a potential ransomware attack and required a full rebuild.
WHAT WE DID
Built a new Active Directory forest from scratch, deployed primary and secondary domain controllers at each location, established site-to-site VPNs between all four sites for redundancy and AD sync, and stood up a fully connected multi-site environment across 90 endpoints. Deployed Huntress ITDR, EDR/MDR, and SIEM for full security coverage, and implemented Liongard for complete visibility and documentation of agent activity across every site.
THE OUTCOME
The organization went from fully exposed with no security infrastructure to a monitored, documented, and compliant environment across all four locations. Now operating as a managed client on an ongoing basis.

Nonprofit IT Takeover
THE SITUATION
New York Jobs CEO Council had been working with an out-of-state MSP that was unable to prioritize their needs. Onsite support required scheduling travel days in advance, leaving the organization without timely IT assistance. They needed a local partner who could be physically present and responsive.
WHAT WE DID
Placed a dedicated technician onsite four hours a day to handle issues immediately, conducted a full sweep of the hybrid Apple and PC environment, and rebuilt the management and security stack from the ground up. Deployed Addigy for Apple device management, NinjaRMM for endpoint management, and Huntress for full cybersecurity coverage including Defender, ITDR, SAT, MDR, and ISPM. Established full monthly health reporting on the environment.
THE OUTCOME
All prior outstanding issues were resolved. Response time improved dramatically — from scheduling travel days in advance to immediate onsite support. The organization now has complete visibility into their environment and a dedicated local partner who shows up every day.

Bettina Equities Management, a New York City-based real estate management company, owns and manages over 70 residential and commercial properties — each with some level of IT infrastructure including camera systems, internet connectivity, and access control. When Moore Technology Consulting took over the engagement in 2007, the environment required significant work to stabilize, secure, and modernize across their growing portfolio of locations.
WHAT WE DID
Took full ownership of the environment and systematically transformed it over nearly two decades — stabilizing infrastructure, improving security, managing day-to-day IT operations, and supporting technology across all 70+ properties. That includes ongoing monitoring of camera systems, internet connectivity, and access control infrastructure at each location. At their main office, we serve as their dedicated managed IT partner handling everything from routine support to complex infrastructure projects. Current active work includes a full rental office remodel with new low voltage drops, a new conference room setup, new workstation deployments, a complete server buildout, and a new server room closet build-out.
